I guess in business the bottom line is money. And the music business is a business. But the only people who love the money are those making it. Which doesn't leave much for the rest of us. Which will work itself out when those screwing art for cash go retire – somewhere remote – and leave the rest of us alone with what we love: music.

MTV is dead. Just don't watch this garbage..The decadence begun at late 90s – early 00s and currently we live the peak of the end. Its really sad for music but…internet nowadays has the power that MTV had at the 80s…so they can go and f@#$ off with Britney, Beyonce and Gaga. Their directors/producers don't make art…they just count the money…

Wow, that nomination list is almost complete crap (with the exception of the "Breakthrough Video" category… although how they qualify "breakthrough" seems a little lost in translation… from the nominees, it would seem to be the "not overproduced corporate trash pushed on us by brain-dead major labels" category)

I think you guys should host the awesome music awards ! have categories for most awesome synth video of the year, most awesome keytar video, and awards for the best of what you reckon is the most awesome. I come back here all the time for awesome stuff, and your site is the the most awesome source of inspiration.
