Thanks for the article :) I really feel that this app is far above most of the other drum / synth boxes on the iphone, and it offers you enough control to actually make some cool stuff (as opposed to being an app that you forget about after the first use..). There are some demo sounds available at http://www.bleepboxapp.com/

This app is amazing. Great, intuitive UI, Super tweak-able sounds, and a performance mode that lets you do some amazing looping/stutter effects. I've only had it for one day but I can see that this app is deep. I will be able to go back to it over and over and get a different sounding result every time.

      something to think about

When Mozart was composing at the end of the eighteenth century, the city of Vienna was so quiet that fire alarms could be given verbally, by a shouting watchman mounted on top of St. Stefan’s Cathedral. In twentieth-century society, the noise level is such that it keeps knocking our bodies out of tune and out of their natural rhythms. This ever-increasing assault of sound upon our ears, minds, and bodies adds to the stress load of civilized beings trying to live in a highly complex environment. — Stephen Halpern
