I like that Don pushed aside his jerk questions and only answered the questions that were real.

Not sure about the interviewer, but this is the best interview I've seen with Buchla.

He's clearly sharp as ever and full of some deep synth kung fu.

I disagree, (what else is new), he seemed well informed, but he definitely had this smarmy, euro~pretentious attitude. Like yeah , yeah, ve heard all zis at ze last Kraftverk show. Also, he was talking down, (i won't paraphrase Jesse Jackson at this point), for his audience's sake, which maybe dumbed it down a tad. That previous Bob Moog interview was the same affair. You could see he challenged them a bit with his nonchalant quips, but hey, they were both actually very good interviews. Strange how these in depth and personal musical interviews are being paid for by the beverage you mix with vodka when you're in the mood for a roid rage at the club. That Don Buchla, however, was pretty amazing. His philosophies and quest for more tangible interface was quite exciting. And doesn't he look like a spry Robin Williams at 85? Anyhow, don't miss these videos.

Most of the questions were really stupid and cliche..I think that the guy on the left has little to no experience with electronic music and analogue sound devices. I'm not absolute on this, but he gave me that idea...
