The USB on the Virus essentially acts as a full studio interface. Also, the level of integration with a DAW on the Virus is mind numbing. I guess you get what you pay for, right? Not hating on the Tetra at all... It is an amazing instrument. As a proud Evolver, Mopho, and Tetra owner, (and an Virus TI61) I can personally say I love Dave Smith Instruments.
