This is my customized microKorg. It was largely inspired by the Roland SH-101 and other vintage synths.
It’s a blast to play. You can hear it used in some songs and find pictures of it at the Polaroids of the Pyramids MySpace page

I think you're kind of missing the point and not understanding what customization is and why people customize things.
I agree, cost isn't an object. The point wasn't to create a "keytar" (I hate that word and notice that he avoids calling it that in the video). The point was to create a one-of-a-kind signature item. This is the only synth like this in the world.
