software is cool, waiting for updates for things like manual/auto chop and step sequencers. As a real time beat machine it's pretty coo, fun to play with, but still needs some work. They are supposed to be working on an update, hopefully it comes out soon.

October is just around the corner...so I'm gonna wait to see what the hardware actually works like, it wasn't ever the marketing that got me interested, it was the specs and what they said on paper it will do.

now just waiting to see it delivered...I will say this, i'm not sure the "industry" will allow them another push back on the release...so we'll see what's good.

the pace thing isn't that major to me, i've never had any problems with pace on any of my machines, but I know tons of folks don't like it and I'd definitely like to see a simple serial number system or something other than what they are doing now for authorization...the system is too manual and cumbersome.

I mean come on, they told us from the beginning about how much the Kangz will listen to their customers and how different they are - yet they use anti piracy software at the kernel level. A funny system called PACE which every musician needs to have on their machines for sure. FAIL !

I really don't care how childish their presentation is. If their product is a legitimate and powerful tool at a good price, I'll use it. I'm impressed with the Beat Thang's specs and I hope it's as good in real life as it looks on paper.

Hey, i'm not a hater...i love music technology no matter which country it comes from. This video shows a very childish / not serious-formal presentation and the product no matter its functionality, looks like a "gangsta toy". Well...these are not serious movements in the industry and i don't think that they will change the world with that "pimp my drum machine" design and attitude...

I think ya'll are being Hater's. So what if these guys are trying to do something different. Instead of getting behind the little guy you are attacking with negativity. That is what has gone wrong with this country. BIG WIG corporations have taken over the country. We will all fail if we don't stand together.

The wording of the original EULA did not accurately convey what our intention was. In version 1.0.5 the EULA paragraph 2 will read as such. We will honor this agreement with early adopters that signed the original EULA.

2. Pre-recorded Sounds and Patterns. The Software contains various pre-recorded sounds (“Sounds”) and patterns (“Beats”). Subject to this EULA, BKE hereby grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, without rights to sublicense, to incorporate the Sounds and Beats into sound recordings produced by you and to copy, distribute, and publicly perform such sound recordings, provided that, in the case of the Beats, you provide an attribution credit to BKE as the source of the Beats. You shall not copy, distribute, license, sell or otherwise transfer the Sounds and/or Beats in their original and unedited or edited forms.

Also a funny quote from their license:
