  1. I love it! A bit tongue in cheek but very informative. I've never heard one before but this is a great showcase. And it's very cool to have Little Boots incorporating this low-tech synth plus other cool gear into her music.

    Finally, I hadn't realized how much debt the SX-150 synth that came in that japanese magazine a few months ago owes to the good old stylophone.

  2. I have to say that I love this little instrument. Probably a good example of retro products (whats old just becomes the new "new"). Its really popular here in Australia. Lots of people have been picking them up.

    I've been playing Stylophones since 1995. I have the standard black one, a DOREMI knock off, and of course, the 350S model which I was hoping to see in this, but didn't. Oh well!

  6. I heard that the original champion of the stylophone (rolf harris) actually made a tilt for the coveted UK Christmas song for 2009! Gotta say that Rolf Harris continues to chug along from his early days using the stylophone!
