As a music school student in the electronic music program at North Texas, I dreamed of someday working with Weather Report in any capacity. That dream came true in 1979 when I was asked to become Zawinul's synthmeister – basically taking care of the synths, tuning them on the road etc.
Thanks for the video. It brings back fond memories of working in that house above the Rose Bowl and with the man himself. What great musician, composer, and human being.
