The Eigenharp Alpha, right, is their professional level instrument. It allows the musician to play and improvise using a limitless range of sounds with virtuoso skill.

It has 120 playing keys, 12 percussion keys, two strip controllers and a breath pipe. It’s available in a variety of custom finishes.

  1. I find this instrument SO exciting! Heartfelt congratulations to it's creators.I hope it flies high to great success.
    Yet i've already seen a few misguided 'negative' comments along the 'corny' lines that it's not a "real/proper" instrument.
    I may not be 'qualified' to judge the question but I KNOW that when I can manage the required squid£ies i'm having a Pico and will crash the barriers of technique and music theory that keep me a musical 'dyslectic' for such a frustratingly long time.

  2. it's a bit expensive… I don't see how you can justify buying something like that without an entry level model to learn to play on. You might find you hate it. And I don't think the pico counts because it's basically a completely different instrument.
