Sorry about the audio, we were playing pretty loud and the camera person was close to the stage.

Um… I know it wasn't your intention, but there is a lot of electronic music in Iowa, and a distorted video from the Vaudeville Mews doesn't really represent it.

Bring it on, chaircrusher! Let's see the links, videos & mp3s!

Bring on the Iowa electronics links, videos & MP3s, then, chaircrusher!

You're right, there's Shigauze, These Stains is Us, Insectoid and others. But this video DOES represent one form of iowa electronic music, obviously.

      something to think about

When Mozart was composing at the end of the eighteenth century, the city of Vienna was so quiet that fire alarms could be given verbally, by a shouting watchman mounted on top of St. Stefan’s Cathedral. In twentieth-century society, the noise level is such that it keeps knocking our bodies out of tune and out of their natural rhythms. This ever-increasing assault of sound upon our ears, minds, and bodies adds to the stress load of civilized beings trying to live in a highly complex environment. — Stephen Halpern
