Synth DIY Expression Pedal To MIDI Continuous Controller

This video demonstrates a DIY project to make a box to send MIDI continuous controller messages based on expression pedal input.

My reason for doing this was to drive the wah effect in Line6 GearBox (MIDI CC#4) using my M-Audio EX-P pedal. … since I have a Toneport UX2 it has no expression pedal input. Based around a battery powered homebrew Arduino clone built on stripboard.

  1. This exactly what I need!!! Do you sell this device? if not, can you recommend me an alternative solution. I just bought a new digital piano with 2 pedal inputs. One is for sustain pedal and the other one is for soft pedal. I thought that my expression pedal would work with the soft input but it doesn't.
