    1. yes, the obvious one is the ReBirth RB-338, which is now free, but seems to only be the Mac version that still works (very few people successfully install it in windows), and it is great fun, and should run on i-pad etc too.
also, i THINK AudioRealism Bass Line 3 (ABL3) should have a Mac compatible version? it is not free, but not expensive and is dam good!

  1. yes, ABL2 for example, has a Mac OSX version too
not free, but it's the closest software synth to catch the most important characters of a TB-303, if you ask me..

    1. yes, but unless you are a computer whizz, it is next to impossible to get the windows version running on anything after windows 7 (apparently need something called windows help .dll which can’t be installed on windows 10 for example, and without this help menu or whatever it is, the whole thing won’t run. and is highly frustrating.
it only seems to run on Mac OS’s (Mac desktop, i-pad etc)

  4. ReBirth is free indeed, but it's discontinued and the developers left it..
otherwise i had great time playing with it, sadly it isn't easy to get it working in your DAW..
that's one of the reasons i started this project ;]

  7. WayCool!!!! A tb-303 as a VST.

I agree … it is a shame that Rebirth no longer loads on Win7 cleanly.
(The sounds from Reason just are not the same).
This looks like it may go a lot farther as a plug-in for some real DAW's.

  8. FYI. Tested and working in both XP and Win7.
(Note, for Win7 I had to copy over the Venom303 folder from XP to get it to work due to Win7 security not letting the folder auto create).

Tested good in several DAW packages A/S/O.
