I always aim to multiply the sound possibilities of each keyboard at least ten times. Once you get to know each instrument, there is really no limit to the possibilities. The first step is to learn the range and capabilities of all the instruments used in a symphony orchestra. Once you’ve mastered that, you can start to do things with the keyboards. The only real problem is that you’ve only got two hands.

nice job and thanks. I appreciate all educational efforts. I've got a pretty good handle on reason and live but I hadnt decodered the vocoder. I just exported my first samples out of it. Excellent. Good instructional style breaking down the detail first before showing how to use. Hard to do in an impatient world. Dont need to mention being sick of your samples. We're all sick of em (our own samples). I did have some problem triggering with ReDrum. Did you mention dialing the steps up to 32, or 64 to avoid the johnny row your boat ashore effect?

With Record, can one modulate the vocoder in real-time?

It's like watching a modern day Rolf Harris wax lyrical about the Stylophone. How things change but stay the same… LOL! Very clear explanation of Vocoding. Well done. :O)
