  1. My first melodic sequencer or matrix synth for iPhone

Me is not an experienced musician, just a hobbist who learn how to express and expand itself via music. The reason I bought an iPhone is the growing number of great music apps for this little gear. I've tried only a few and different kind of applications like iGOG, iDrum, Noise io, Hexatone JR, but PatternMusic is my favourite one so far. And not just because my needs (wanted something I can use on the go, record some melodic idea).
PatternMusic is a unique world from visual, and musical point of view as well. It looks and works like a well-thought-out toy. Mature and lovely real instrument like sound collection, easy to handle, intuitive. Built in tutorial, zoom mode in pattern editor screen.
What I missed: lower notes, export/record (yeah, ofc) function and the possibility of placing longer notes, or a feature to record taps on keys into the pattern editor. At 130bpm with 1/16 note length I couldn't achieve continuous sound with a flute. I know there are HW limitations, but an option of smaller length notes like 1/32 would ease the creation process. It was a bit annoying that comparing to the whole great first time experience placing a pad-like sound into the scene was fumbling. Maybe I just missed something, for sure need more time than half a day to become fully familiar with all it's possibilities.
On the whole I'm satisfied, it worths all cents. I'm happy to have chance to experience things like this and very curious to see where this application is going to evolve.
    Fingerwares FTW!

    Cheers,
