Saturday Synth Porn: It doesn’t get more sexy than the Reactable, a tangible user interface for electronic music.

In fact, after seeing this video, you may never look at your old keyboard-based synthesizer the same way.

The Reactable is based on a translucent and luminous round table. By putting “pucks” on the Reactable surface and by turning them and connecting them to each other, performers can combine synthesizers, effects, sample loops or control elements to create compositions.

This techno live jam of Barcelona Bakalao and Reactable was recorded at the Reactable office.

Not that i expect too many here to get this, butt doesn't it sound like the 'surfer's song 'hey' from about 1:14 to 2:30? Maybe it's just me, but is the only way forward, the way back?
