When you buy a Kazooka you are buying a professional musical instrument, not a cheap novelty. Our electric kazoos are hand crafted from high quality components by musicians for musicians. Our kazoos, membranes, pickups, cables and connectors have been selected for the best sound quality and durability with no compromises.

Special attention has been paid to the voicing of our electric kazoos to assure that they cut through the mix with rich, focused tone while never sounding shrill or harsh. Thanks to our unique hand-crafted membranes, our kazoos sound better than any off-the-shelf kazoo, electric or not.

  1. Being a heavy metal fan myself (note: fan, not a musician or guitar player) I can only say that I think this thing sounds horrible. Ugh.. It might be a nice "Synth guitar" gadget but no way do I see this replace an electric guitar.

  2. LOL, one of the most recent times that I went to my preferred music store in Madrid, which is the main Korg and Fender reseller, a school teacher came in to buy a buy cheap instruments (or rather noise making devices) for his class. The guys at the shop suggested kazoos, but It turned out that none of the presents had ever played one, so I found myself performing a demo!!!

  3. One of the worst purchases I've ever made–when it worked, it sounded pretty meh, and it was broken within two days. You're better of just buying a cheap kazoo and outfitting it with a simple piezo contact mic.

  5. i thought the same thing you do "it's just a piezo" and i tried that myself before buying a kazooka but gluing a piezo right on top of the kazoo result in all kinds of noise just from holding it and moving it, not to mention FEEDBACK. I have kazooka and it's not a piezo. nothing against your project. putting a contact mic on ANYTHING that vibrates will work and it's fun, but it's not the same thing.
