  1. Grabbed some livesets from their website but to be honest I was quite disappointed after I installed them. Their directory structure is horrible, plain out totally unworkable. You have to keep on clicking, at least 5 layers deep, before you actually reach anything. WTF?!

The featured set, number 4, is ok. It installs into your live library, so you end up with "Instrument RackTogeo StudiosDreamscapesDreamscapes Part 4" which is sort of ok. Still deep, but not really annoying. The sound effects (as far as I heard them) are quite nice too.

But the rest, give me a break… I installed the previous version; Dreamscape 3, and this doesn't go into your library automatically, so I put it into D:Ableton (where my library and some other livesets reside). This directory is also in my first filebrowser.

BUT in order to reach it… "Dreamscapes 3PresetsInstrumentsInstrument rackTogeo studiosDreamscapesDreamscape part 3". That is WAY too much clicking for my liking to be able and reach the stuff.

Yes, I know you can overcome this by dumping the stuff right into your library directory (in my case d:abletonlibrary) but NO WAY am I ever going to do that. Because these livepacks don't really install themselves, so there is no way to really tell what they installed. So uninstalling becomes tedious and that'll bloat your library directory really quick.

SO… so far I like their 4th version, but I don't really care about the rest of the stuff.

  6. 1. Download Live Pack from Togeo Studios

    2. On Mac, the downloaded file will unzip automatically, and you will be left with a folder.

    3. Open this folder and double click the Live Pack (.alp) file, this will open ableton and prompt you to save the file somewhere.

    4. Save it to your Desktop

    5. In Ableton (no need to restart), go to the file browser on the left of the screen by clicking one of the file browser buttons below the Ableton Library button (Live Device Browser). The button you want looks like a folder with a number inside of it.

    6. Navigate to the desktop in this browser, and locate the file you saved earlier.

    7. Do not double click this file, instead right click it (control + click on mac), and select "Manage Files," or something similar

    8. The file manager will open on the right side of ableton, and at that point, press the bottom most option "Export." The files will automatically be exported into your library

  7. No they're not clipping..wtf… must be your comp. I got all their free packs, they are pretty damn good.and theres 1000s of presets. They are all in the same folder under Togeo Studios in instrument racks just like Pure Magnetik, Dennis DeSantis and all the others are. Where else would they be. Anyway they are pretty nice and I hope they keep making free stuff… theres not that much out there.

  9. I manually put Dreamscapes 1-3 into my instrument rack folder (after same issue as synthfan)…not a big deal, as these are great racks…I've had them for a while, and use them quite a bit. Their bass racks are nice as well. Dreamscapes 4 installed without a hitch and sound wonderful. Thanks to Togeo for these fine instruments! It's obvious to me that a lot of work went into creating them, and to give them away for free is a true gift!

  11. We understand and are working on repacking our older Live packs to be Live ready also (one click installs). It just tales a little time, but we should have them done by the end of this weekend. Btw our products are always installed properly to "Togeo Studios" folders in instrument racks, effects racks., samples, clips, etc. So uninstalling is just search and delete those folders. But with the new live ready packs its a simple uninstall option within Abletons live pack preferences. Hope that clears things up for you and we are always open to suggestions.

  12. Well I dont think there clipping, but we did throw them together quickly and probably should have dropped the levels some. Sorry about that, will make some new ones and post them up if I get a chance.
