Artists deal in this rather nebulous area I call “the rehearsal of empathy.” You’re rehearsing a repertoire of feelings that you might have about things, of ways of reacting to things, of how it would feel to be in this situation. How it would feel to be in that person’s place? What would I have done? Such questions are the most essential human questions because they deal with how we negotiate as mental beings through a complicated universe.
— Brian Eno

Ha – love the Jarre-sounding covers of 8-bit tunes!

I was a little disappointed with the C64 tracks because quite frankly; the C64 can do a lot better than that. I've been using the C64 a lot in my youth (heck; I still have a few models stored somewhere) and I've seen and heard and helped create (no design but programming) massives of demo's.
But when looking back then one thing is for sure; it sure packed quite a musical punch back in the days. Its SID chip truly ruled in its era. IMVHO

For sure!
SID music was the soundtrack to my childhood. When I hear it now, it affects me in a deeply emotional way that I just cannot explain.
