  1. The synth fun doesn't end at this show. The after party with Goldenrod and Wormholes & Trumpets is at Emerald Lounge. Moogus Operandi attendees get a discount and a percentage of proceeds will go to the Moog foundation.

    – Goldenrod brings the classic early 70’s dance floor bump and Herbie Hancock’s retro “Rockit” electronics into a Beck-inspired post-millennium. Swirling vocals, thick analog keyboards, and upright bass combine with heavy breakbeats for an undeniably dynamic live show. The band’s acclaimed debut release, “Paintings for Prophets”, spent several months on CMJ’s Top 100 and propelled the band on awhirlwind summer and fall tour in 2009. "Paintings for Prophets" received heavy airplay on radio stations throughout America and Canada, including heavy-hitters likeKCRW, KUCI, 3WK, KEXP, AND KXLU. Their second release is currently in the works and rumored to be scheduled for release in late 2010.

    – Wormholes & Trumpets (Ben Hovey from Asheville Horns with special guests)

Fusing function and form, this Sonic Scientist, an undeniable gear head has daisy chained his musical styling as “electro-soul.” Building a funky foundation of break beats, erecting walls of sound/visuals with his synthesizers, and illuminating the spot with hot live brass, he makes House into a Home.
