Numark Mixtrack DJ Controller

Numark Mixtrack

2010 Summer NAMM Show: Numark has announced Mixtrack, a new DJ software controller that has an estimated street price of $149.99.

Mixtrack has two deck controllers with large touch-activated jog wheels and transport controls. Mixtrack contains colored LEDs for Transport, Loop, and Effects buttons for quick referencing during performance on stage or in the studio. The center of Mixtrack surface is its mixer section with a smooth crossfader, line faders, deck EQs, and advanced controls for looping and effects.

Mixtrack comes with Native Instruments Traktor LE software, which is based on Traktor Pro. Mixtrack comes factory mapped for use not only with Traktor LE but also Traktor Pro and Duo, so Traktor power users will be ready to go right out of the box.

Full MIDI compliance means Mixtrack will also work with virtually any MIDI- mappable music software. Mixtrack connects to a Mac or PC as a class- compliant USB device so it requires no software drivers to work, and USB powers it so you won’t need an external supply.

Mixtrack will be available from musical instrument and DJ retailers in July 2010. It has a U.S.

  3. just bought it.. its not that great. cznt adjust fader. you will need to buy the interface to use headphones..and its a pain in the ass to set up. i had to troubleshoot a few problems.. scratching sucks.. i have a dell xps 8 gb of ram,I7 possessor and a ssd.. still has a little bit of delay..

  4. It works with Virtual Dj 6.1.1. & above. Not 6.0!! So far I'm having better luck with the scratching on Traktor LE than VDJ. No, it doesn't have a built in soundcard, so you will need an external one to use headphones & speakers. It was tricky to set up but with a little tweaking it wasn't too bad. For $150.00 I can't complain.
