    1. I don’t get all the hate towards them, they’re very good little synths, and the filter emulations are pretty decent for a digital synth

      1. Because of their size mainly. Also, The control, now that I think about it, is very complex to me (and to some others) — You can’t choose waves easily, for one (You might need an oscilloscope or something to see what wave you’re trying to change). The only reasons people buy this are: 1. the vocoder, 2. the price, and 3. those people who have no need of sound experimentation and just want to choose their presets. There’s this backwards mentality in synthesiser making that “Less is more”, and unfortunately, it’s being proven right — the MS2000 and the Alesis ION, great synths, were discontinued to make way for crappy preset synths.

  1. My Microkorg just arrived today. It’s an awesome & fun little synth!!! I have top of the line modern & vintage synths like Korg Kronos X 88, Triton Pro X w/EXB-MOSS, TR-Rack, Z1, DW8000, Poly 800, Elesis Fusion HD6 & QSR, Kurzweil PC3K6, Yamaha Motif 6 w/PLG150-AN & EX5, Roland XV5080 & SH-01 Gaia, (also a fun little synth) Casio CZ-1, & more. They’re all great synths, but I really love the Microkorg.

  2. Hellooo!
Im looking for new keys for my microkorg for an really oldskool feel.
say, make the white ones, black, and vice versa, just like you see on some old organs and fortepiano’s etc etc.
does anyone know where i can find em? i know how to fit them tho so thats okay. just new keys.
please email at [email protected] if you have any ideas! many thanks! ^^
