  1. MIDI? Only five knobs? Pushbuttons? LCD display?

This is not what I call analog(ue). Where are the drifting oscillators? Does the filter squeal?

  2. this looks really tempting. And yes I agree finally I can get myself a Moog. Maybe Buchla will come out with something similar….hahaha

  3. The signal path is pure analog. One listen will set you straight…and yes the filter does squeal. Just like the LP, this synth has overload along with the other tweakable filter params that you'd expect. Analog for today's musician! Keep in mind that the LP was the last project that Bog Moog, himself, had direct input on. 🙂

  4. I see a lot of thease showing up on eBay in the future once all of you find out that they only make two sounds.
    Bass and "prog" lead.

    Oh and "space' noises!
So I guess that is three…

  5. oddly enough the knobs send out actual control voltage – as in, they dont transmit digital data but rather connect directly to a given parameter analog style… this is probably why there are only a few of them, to keep the price low

  6. Assuming the oscillators are the same as the Little Phatty's (everything else appears identical), they take 15 minutes to warm up properly, and will need to be tuned every several months (90 minute process, automatically run from the master menu).

  7. Could anyone guess if this little guy could go into poly mode with a bunch of them together? Maybe that is why a midi thru could be used for?

  8. Oh, you are from those people who don't even like a Voyager…I bet you won't be happy with a new synth anytime soon…You've got a point though…

  9. bought one myself. Great peice of gear for a monophonic synth. sounds like Moog. dude was right with Prog lead and Bass, but he forgot to mention routing this badboy into DAW with good A/D conversion at 24 bit and a fair sample rate gives you a ton more tweaking options. though, even with those options this cute little peice of sonic sonic foreplay leaves you wanting more. so poly chain it is.
