Actually – Amplitube 2 is for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

They have a separate version of Amplitube specificially for the iPad that has not been updated yet.

Why they don't just go universal is a good question.

I updated the post to hopefully help clarify this.

  1. I am having trouble with the recording mode on ipad. When I started recording I cannot go back to stomp boxes without going to record first. Is their a manual that explains the recording with amplitude / ipad

  2. I just purchased the irig and amplitude for my iPad. Don't waste your money. Crashes, crashes and more crashes. Buggy is an understatement. Apple should be ashamed to market this app on national television.
