If You Buy Keith Emerson’s Moog, It’s Stolen

Keith Emerson has posted a statement on Facebook regarding Moog gear being sold on eBay with his name associated with it.

He says that, if you buy Keith Emerson’s Moog, it’s stolen:

Keith completely agrees that all Moog systems are highly valuable and desired regardless of any names associated with it.

Keith Emerson has never sold or given any of his Moog modular parts to anyone including his techs and friends.

Thus, if some parts of this wonderful equipment are “said to be” Keith’s (as in “The Story”), then they still are. Please consider the implication.

As always – buyers beware with eBay, and don’t hesitate to ask buyers tough questions!

  1. Yeah, if I were selling something in the ballpark of $15.000 I'd ask the potential buyer tough questions beforehand, too. 😉

  2. Excellent web site you’ve got here.. It’s hard to find high-quality writing like yours these days.

I really appreciate people like you! Take care!!
