When Does A MIDI Controller Stop Being A MIDI Controler, And Become An Instrument?

When does a MIDI controller stop being a MIDI controller – and just become an instrument?

Synth Project’s latest custom MIDI controller, the Project-5 Controller, begs that question. It’s a custom controller for Gunnar’s Messiah VST – a software synthesizer, inspired by the Sequential Circuits Prophet V.

Check out this demo video:

The Project-5 Controller offers full-on knobulation and retro Sequential Circuits styling.

Check it out and let us know what you think of it!

  1. Short answer to a simple question:
It is an instrument when it starts to produce sound!

This is in no way ment to diminish SynthProjects projects. These things are pure awesomness!!!
