Behringer Announces X32 Digital Mixing Console

  1. Awesome they are going to release a rather expensive piece of crap, that's just going to push the prices up for decent gear because they will see that we will spend $2500 for a "pro-sumer/consumer" grade crap, shouldn't things be going in the other direction? I mean there are enough digital "consoles" out there you could fill a pool. Don't we want more for less instead of the same or less for more?

  8. Oh Crap! Did I miss the "Digital Mixing Tournament of Champions" on ESPN9 yet? Man, when 01V96 put the sleeper hold on Onyx in the Northwestern Regional Semi's, I thought Si Compact 32 was gonna tag in and lay down the smack! Am I right?

  14. I guess this is why Midas and Behringer merged, to give everyone a chance at quality digital at an affordable price. Too bad none of you will enjoy it because of your bias towards Behringer. Maybe you should do some blind tests with Behringer equipment like I have and quit your bitchin for something that makes more sense!

  15. Hey the DDX was a good digital mixer for it's price when it came out. Now with better mic pre's, effects and converters, it could be a great option for a home studio.

  16. Behringer have certainly done their homework and the features on this mixer are exactly what i’m (& I’m sure many others are) looking for! Yes, Behringer is not my #1 choice of “High-Quality” product but they do produce a “good” quality product! I look forward to seeing how these new mixers fair under a true test!
Funny how people criticize Behringer yet if you look in their studio guaranteed you’ll find them using it! 😕

  17. I have a bcf2000, it is a great piece of equipment, the documentation is crap for getting things done quickly but it is a very sturdy motorized unit. If they release the x32 they should definitely include mappings for all software because it takes your hair several shades of gray by the time you figure out how to program it, as the docs rarely are correct…..
with my one motu setup I have just resolved myself to use the basic hui and forget about the software synths and everything else because it is too difficult to program and everyone wants something to work out of the box…..
yes…buy it…for sure…i want one for my b room but, will i be able to program it

  18. hay everyone,we are in a bad economy right now.thank god we have products like BEHRINGER
or we would go broke. And by the way just about every thing in my studio is BEHRINGER and i havent had an unsatistfied customer in over ten years and counting.

  19. Behringer doesn´t push up the prices on other brands because they sell their stuff cheaper. On the contrarary, they force other brands to lower their prices to a more resonable level where it should have been in the first place 🙂
Most people who is talking bad about Behringer, never tried any of their equipment themselves. So many in the music industry are fakes all over. They have to buy expensive stuff to compensate for the lack of musical talent. Real sad actually. If you are a real musician with something to pass on to an audience, you don´t give a shit what name is on your equipment. If it sounds good, it´s good!

  20. I still have a DDX-3216 in use 3 times a week in a live mix environment… my only complaint with the desk is the effects do suck. Other than that, it's been a fantastic console to use.

  21. before i was using behringer someone told me that JB systems was nice and it works well, i spended a lot of money on that. after a few mounts everything was broken so i bought a behringer pannel, i knew it was also not hig end but damn you i stil got it now i think about 7 years and stil goes on…. in my oppiniun all the guys who are negative about behringer are like what was sad above still believing they have to have a mixer from 25000 eur to have the best. i can say that i worked whit a company who had a profeccional 32 analog mixer and had a lot of shit with it , and also had a few little behringer mixers who didn't give any problems. ok it's right to say that when you spend 2500 on this one or 25000 on a "good" mixer there wil be a difference … buth why do you want to use it ? if it is for verry profecional studio work i don't think any one wil look at this and comment negatve, if your looking for een good home solution for recording music or in locale theatre or any small things or starting new and expermintating , i think this is an exelent solution !!!! i'm gonna buy me one when it comes out

  22. Hey, I'm new to this forum and have been actively reading everyones comments regarding digital mixers. I've been in the PA game for sometime now been using analog gear which is serving me well however, with the price of transport, I've been using a Behringer DCX9624 in FOH Pwramp rack for over a year now and hasn't given me a ounce of problems. Ganted, the build isn't upto a dbx 260 or teven he early behringer gear it works and has the features I need. All aside, I'm defintely will give the X32 desk a go as it has more than enough under the lid for my gigs and the addition of and AES50 (Supermac) digital stage box over Cat5e has won me over. Proof of the pudding is in the taste and if the X32 sound as good as it looks then I'll be getting one. I believe now Behringer have signed in Midas and Klark Technik the digital scene will change due to the compitition between Allen & heath, Digico, Protools blah blah. Let's all see how the X32 goes before giving Behringer a wide birth.

  26. Yes Behringer forces the other companies to lower their prices to something more reasonable, not the other way around. I worked for a company whose most popular console cost $3,000 to make and it sold around the world for $15,000. If they sold it direct for $6,000 they would have still made a 100% profit to recover R&D costs. As hard as it might be, we need to put Behringer in proper perspective.

  27. X32 Do you think they will put a Thunderbolt connector as an optional card? The Audient stuff is also a great deal ASP2802 in July Focusrite is going to make it for them.
I think Behringer is upping the quality of this unit due to its Midas and Klark Technik connection
this COULD be the best deal in live and home recording history. We shall see or hear.

  28. I just have two question2,, Is the Behringer x32 only good for live performances? and is it Good for Home recording’s with Pro Tools? Thank u

  29. hello, I v heard all the talk of truble with Behinger and the New x32.

the Book saya channel 15/16 as Land right out. in my way of thinking ,I thaugt
1,2out was Main out Like a tascam Bix Mixer of 10years ago when Main was 1 2. Main Left and Right.
Ok maybe Behinger had a brain Problum and an Over sight.
