  1. I realize that the human attention span is becoming shorter by the nanosecond, but a video with a running length no longer than 1:21 should not be classified as one that is "in depth". In fact, these KORG product videos are very "in depth" at all. The "Looper" portion of this video "series", for example, doesn't even cover all the functions (or effects) in that particular quadrant. The "Grain Slicer" effect is left out. At this point, I don't know anything about the "looping" functionality, and sadly the "looping" video tells me nothing of the product's "looping" abilities. Only that "looping" is an effect that I can call up and mess around with. Strange.

I do get the gist of the product though, and I have to say as the owner of the first generation Kaoss Pad I find the new Kaoss Quad to be a bit of a let down. I wonder how Captain Eno would take to it?

  2. The videos of the machine are useless. Demoed by a person who has NO idea what he is doing. Give this thing to some of the YouTube heroes and sales will rocket. But produce lame-ass last-century epileptic vids and FAIL!
