    Actually, the thing does look cool. Buying NOW, lol.

  2. I really like it. Unfortunately the video was showing the "auto" bowing for most of the time, which isn't that great, but the manual mode using the "ribbon" sounds much nicer and has lot of expressive possibility. It doesn't quite sound like a real instrument, but because of the "bowing" it doesn't quite sound like a synth either, so it's a neat kind of different sound. The "note" buttons allow bends and slides, too, and you can control volume by the position you "fret" it, so there's really a lot of expressive potential.
