  1. Her music seems like some solid synth-pop, but is it all covers? Either way, she's got a rich voice to go with the deep-synth-symphony she's rocking.

Someone seriously needs to take away the Ronald McDonald hair-dye though. She looks like she's trying to look tacky and ugly.

  2. Not that she's ugly! I don't mean to be a dick, I think she looks great in some of the shots in the video on her website. Her complexion almost pulls off the hair color, but no one this side of Venus really can.

  3. Solely commenting on the picture my thoughts are "candygirl with her new (?) toy". Ugh…

@synthhead: Yeah, NOW you're asking.. When googling for "1979 Suzuki Tronichord" the first page shows a majority of hits on synthtopia.com.. So first you hide the information, then ask us for it? 🙂

(nah; I'm partly joking there ;-))

I only know its rare instrument. Then again, my source was wikipedia:

  9. saw this posted on her facebook. cool site!

as fan of hers for a couple years (at least her more current electro pop stuff, not so much the old folky stuff when she was a teenager), i would assume she made the video because they had her do that song on the nbc show 'the voice'. she writes, records, and produces everything, and from what i've seen in photos, has a pretty extensive collection of synthesizers.
