Bass-tastic Synth Jam – Velvet Voyager, By Bruno Ender Lee

Sunday Synth Jam: The Synthtopia KRK 10 subwoofer got a workout while watching and listening to Bruno Ender Lee’s Velvet Voyager.

A 225 Watt subwoofer may seem like massive overkill for a computer primarily used for blogging. But when the earth-moving synth bass kicks in like it does on this track, it makes complete sense.

Lee’s Velvet Voyager, Parts 1 & 2, were recorded live Sept 9. Every sound was created with the Minimoog Voyager Old School, recorded on 3 stereo tracks – bass, effects and leads, with delay added.

Filming was done during the performance of the leads.
