Saturday Synth Porn: A moody shot of a Moog III modular synthesizer, owned by Isao Tomita.

Tomita is best known for his ‘classitronica’ works of the 70′s, classical works arranged for synthesizers and electronic keyboards.

  1. The last time I saw or heard anything of Tomita was when he was suspended in a Casio pyramid, performing “Firebird” live. Its no small thing to translate the classics for synthesizer, but its a shame he hasn’t done anything public again for so long. He brought a refined touch to his work that few have been able to emulate.
