Tomita is best known for his ‘classitronica’ works of the 70′s, classical works arranged for synthesizers and electronic keyboards.

The last time I saw or heard anything of Tomita was when he was suspended in a Casio pyramid, performing “Firebird” live. Its no small thing to translate the classics for synthesizer, but its a shame he hasn’t done anything public again for so long. He brought a refined touch to his work that few have been able to emulate.
