This is very cool, and my favorite parts aren’t even the cool sampler arrangements.
When the speaker introduces each segment, we hear the keys clicking as he types [!] and calls up samples, so in those brief little intros there is spoken word, sampled instrument and percussive key-strikes.
I enjoyed those intro bits more than the actual constructed bits.

@Yep – If you have an iPad you could always get the Fairlight iOS version which is a faithful (some say overly so) emulation of the original hardware model for only $49 USD and then you could keep your internal organs until something like a CS-80 comes along :-): http://fairlightinstruments.com.au/ios.
Wow, this brought back memories! I had this very tape, but I haven’t heard it again since then.
I think this is the tape that also has the digital delay demo “I’m speaking through a digital delay. I-I-I’m speaking through a digital delay. Usually used for high quality Choooooooorus, and flaaaaaaaanging effects.” 🙂
