There were a lot of things to like about this, and I did. I do have to say that I cringed a bit at the ‘monk chant’ vocal sound. While that sound is slightly less cliched than that makes-my-hand-fly-to-the-volume-knob-faster-than-anything-else-fucking-shaku-flute sound it is a sound that deserves to die a fiery car crash death. But I did enjoy the rest of it and liked the smart use of the 505.
