  1. Nice, I liked that!

I wonder why however all these jams on the large modulars tend to have the word ‘space’ in their titles? 🙂 Just a quick look through the synthopia archives reveals a lot of ‘space’ titled tracks 🙂

  2. I think the prevalence of “Space” related titles refers to the amount of room you need to have such a modular setup…

    Good stuff though.

  3. Lol. True @Mike.

I think the Music from the Hearts of Space radio show (http://www.hos.com/) may have something to do with it. In the 80s my dad used to tape (on cassette!) that show and I’d listen to them in my car while, um, holding my breath a lot.

HOS, Kraftwerk and Rick Wakeman led me down the dark path to modular!

  4. Firstly, many thanks to the owners of this site for sharing my video, and also to everyone who bought the full track. It seems I’ve had a lot of hits from this page according to my bandcamp stats (this is how I’m here).

I titled this one ‘Hearts of Space’, as it was the name of a preset on my JD800 synthesizer. However, many of my tracks have space-related titles, as I have a keen interest in Astronomy. Maybe this is a common trait amongst modular synth builders / owners, although White Mike’s suggestion also rings true.

Thanks again for the positive feedback, it means a lot. If you have a moment check out my latest album, ‘Electro-Funk Selection’, also on my bandcamp page…
