Current – A Space Music Synth Jam

Sunday Synth Jam: This video captures a live performance, Current, by synthesist Martin Peters.

Technical details below.

via attorks:

Here a little idea I had last night. You will here only 2 sequences. The first one is an 8 step sequence from the Synthesizers.com Q960 doing a deep synth-bass sound. Row 1 provides the voltage for the pitch, row 2 the voltage to modulate the VCF and row 3 the voltage to modulate the VCA. The second 4-step sequence from the Doepfer MAQ16/3 drives a bongo-like sound from the self build Modular. Strings are performed on the Roland XP-80 and the solo’s on the Waldorf Q Keyboard and the Clavia Nord Lead 1.

The video is filmed by my girlfriend Anne using my iPhone 4.

You can download/see/hear the video and music from my website.

  1. Nice feeling. Thank you !
It changes of the boring covers… and demos. A little creative (and / or improvisation) can not hurt đŸ˜‰

  2. Its really interesting how many attic spaces or vaulted ceilings I’m seeing these days. I’ve had 3 such spaces myself. Really helps not to be in a room thats completely square, though the low ceiling can be an issue. Here’s to better living in the attic!
