76 Synthesizer Updated To Version 2 – Here’s What’s New

76 Synthesizer – a virtual analog monophonic synth for the iPad, inspired by synthesizers from the 70’s, has been updated to version 2.0.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Recording feature. Allows the user to share recordings via iTunes File Sharing, send as a ringtone via e-mail, and copy to other apps using Audio Copy.
  • Improved filter
  • Optimized graphics for Retina Display
  • Fixed an issue with sawtooth oscillators and overdrive

76 Synthesizer is $1.99 in the App Store.

    1. This is an app everyone was waiting around for because the GUI looked so good. Unfortunately, Animoog came out for $1 right before this did – stealing its thunder. When it did arrive, the feature set seemed too small I think.

  1. I’ve had this app for a long while now, and overall I like it. The updates make the sound better, and the “look” has always made it a very cool synth app to noodle around on. These updates will probably have me using this synth more often.

  2. I agree with mono… the record function and AudioCopy will have me using this synth more often now. The 2.0 update ends up being very much a free gift. Thanks developers!
