i know why the 808 is so famous but why does no one explane why today should be the 808 day ? ^^

I don’t think the 808 will ever die. That kick is just perfect as far as sub bass goes, and genres are constantly being spawned around it. Now with this burgeoning “Trap” genre, get ready for a whole new army of producers rapaciously employing that classic bass bin humming kick, those “ticky” hats, that iconic clap and those “tinny” snares. The 808 is here to stay.
