Electrix Tweaker Now Available

The Electrix Tweaker is a new performance controller for Ableton Live users and Traktor users.

The Tweaker includes a 32-button grid, velocity sensitive pads, push encoders with LED rings, in a 2 channel DJ mixer style interface, with bright multi color LED feedback.

  1. I know it shouldn’t bug me because it’s basically today’s standard…
    But when he mentioned how it should be used when using auto sync because you don’t want to waste time pitching, I died a little bit… I personally feel that being able to manually pitch a track into sync with another is a big part of being an actual f**king DJ…

    If you require the sync button, you’re taking a lot of the skill out of dj’ing and essentially just pushing a bunch of damn effects buttons…

    1. You could quite easily map a pot or silder to pitch. Second, I think you’ve massively mischaracterized just how hard beat matching is. Third, this is a device aimed at a different type of performing – those looking more to do more cue point and sample laiden performances. And forth, YAWN at you.
