Gestrument Updated With AudioBus Support, Background Audio & More

GestrumentGestrument – a gestural instrument and MIDI controller for the iPad – has been updated with AudioBus support and more.

Here’s what’s new in Gestrument 1.2:

  • AudioBus support
  • Allow loading of user-supplied sf2 soundfonts
  • Allow access to all banks and presets in a soundfont
  • Record to standard MIDI file

  1. This is surprisingly good. What would make it great would be a full implementation of virtual MIDI. This app should be able to sync to external MIDI clock as well as send clock.

    I notice that I sound like a broken record most of the time. So many apps get 80% of the way there and leave something like MIDI sync out in the cold.
