Reading the headline, for a moment I thought that Apple was including Audiobus in a future iOS update.

Apple implemented inter-app audio in the iOS6 update. Audiobus is cool but I would like a more built in approach similar to way vitural midi works. You open a menu and select a destanation from within the app. The cool ting about audio bud is the ability to instead effects. But this can be acomplished as will through inter app audio

There is no inter app audio that is part of iOS 6. It was just a rumor based on some words on a slide that Forstall presented.

With that said, it makes since that I haven’t seen or heard anything about inter-app audio since the rumor surfaced.
Audio bus is a great and much needed addition to iOS. I can’t wait to get a new iPad to try it out.
Is there any chance of audiobus being able to route audio from multiple apps to different outputs of an audio interface?
