A worthy update to one of the very best musical devices for Ipad, but I was sad to find still no external MIDI clock sync. I really hope Marcos can add this soon because I would have loved to have used this extensivly on my next release but without the ability to sync it to midi clock its still a standalone app.

what theres no midi ???
i want to use the ipad as a sampler in my machinedrum/analogfour setup !!!
no midi in a sampler is idiotic in my opinion, thats not a random feature thats nice to have, its super important for every computer based music instrument to be able to sync it to a midi clock ^^
very disappointing, so i have to buy sampletank^^

Samplr is a great app, and I’m really impressed with the frequency with which it’s being updated. I wish the vinyl mode had a latch feature, where the sample would continue at normal speed once you lift your finger. It’s impossible to trace your finger at a constant speed, so you can’t get playback that doesn’t warble.

One of the most musical apps, truly unique and very playable; it’s a pity izotope iris doesn’t have this much innovation, I would buy this as a VSTi if the dev ever ports it.

Best use of audio bus thus far, I believe, especially through the output to record eight tracks from eight apps and then mess with them and Create something new lifts this app head and shoulders above the rest.

No first hand experience with this yet but it could a buffer issue. If you take a look at the forum on the audiobus site there should be a thread outlining ways to make sure all apps are running the correct buffer size.
