2013 NAMM Show: Roland has introduced the Studio-Capture USB 2.0 audio interface, a new portable interface with 12 mic preamps, which they say is ‘an industry first for a compact USB audio interface’.

  1. It looks very impressive but at $3,999, if that is around the price ,I think definetly expensive for the average home recording studio.

  2. I’m not sure where your guys’ pricing info came from ($3K and $20K ?!?), but this is going to retail for $999 according to a few major retail websites I have visited.

    It’s a great step beyond Roland’s Octa-Capture unit. And 12 mic pres? Never seen that in an interface before. I don’t need that, but the I/O flexibility in this is impressive.
