At the 2013 NAMM Show, Behringer has introduced the iX16 Digital Mixer for iPad.

It features 16 digitally-programmable mic pres that can be controlled remotely using an iPad, scene recall, MIDI control of external hardware & a built-in effects rack.

  • 6 TRS aux sends and 2 XLR main outputs plus phones connector
  • 18 x 18 channel USB 2.0 audio interface
  • iPad and PC apps available for remote operation via Ethernet, LAN or Wifi

      1. They just reannounced it at NAMM13- links here seem to have to undergo moderationand take a long time to show up, so just find it on their site under “computer audio interfaces”. It looks identical to the one they announced Jan of 2012.

  1. Is it actually docked/plugged in, or does it just float there? I see at least a 1/2″ on either side, and nothing plugged in. Also, what’s with the curved shape? Looks ugly to me.

  2. I sympathize with Behringer….. with the increasing pissing about with connectors, displays, processors et al & secretive new model releases from Apple, by the time anyone develops any new IOS hardware its probably obsolete !
