  1. This plugin is the sole reason why I sold my Nord Lead 2x. It’s different… like the weird love child of a nord lead 2,3, and wave… the vibe is def similar enough. IMHO, it has the same vibe… really useful for tight percussive, light pads, and higher register stuff.

I’m updating my discovery plugin tonight. Can’t wait to see what’s new!

  2. Any synth, in the hands of the master, can sound great.

Oh, and you need tons of outboard hardware. 🙂

Like soldering iron, screwdrivers, wrenches, and a hammer. Yeah, never forget the hammer.

  3. 200 bucks for a discodsp plugin? their stuff is a bit crap,79-99 would be a more realistic price in this current market.do yourselves a favor and go buy yourself a second hand tabletop synth or micro.better yet save another couple of hundred and buy yourself one of many analog synths hitting the shelves. companies better realize they really dont belong charging more than 99 -149 dollars tops for a plugin and for 149 it better be on par with diva

  4. If you think about it: this is a virtual analogue synthesizer. Same way the Nord Lead is. Someone here mentioned Diva like the benchmark against which all software plug-ins should be judge, is it? Diva is meant to reproduce the behaviour of a real analogue synthesizer, at the cost of a huge cpu hit; while this one is meant to sound close to a Nord Lead – using the exact same technology, which is digital. And it does so brilliantly. Sounds amazing. Can’t wait to try the new filters on this thing.
