Sobal Corporation has released S4-Pad – a sample playback app for iOS.
S4-Pad lets you load and tweak audio files from your iTunes library and then trigger them via virtual pads.
Features:
- Available 256-patterns audio files (16 pads x 16 banks. For iPhone and iPod Touch: 9 pads x 9 banks = 81 patterns)
- This app allows you to make backup/restore 256-patterns audio files up to the limit of your storage device.

- select three patterns of Play mode
- trim the position to play
- set loop mode
- set fade-in, fade-out (Only when loop mode is invalid)
- set volume and pan
- set Mute Group
- You can import various audio files from iPod music library and iTunes. In addition, you can import audio files from AudioPaste into pad.

- Reverb, Delay, Distortion, Low Pass Filter, Varispeed

It had great potential but 2 reasons I wont be buying it.
A. not supporting iPad 1 is a sin. iOS 5 is not supported
B. No midi support. I don’t care about audiobus because, well hey I can’t use it anyway . Thank you Apple.
why exactly is that apple’s problem? did they write the code for this app?
