iZotope Expands ‘Audio-Mangling’ Trash 2 With ‘Classic Textures’

izotope_Trash2_classic_texturesiZotope has released Classic Textures, a new expansion pack for Trash 2, their “audio mangling” plug-in.

Showcasing the softer side of Trash, Classic Textures is a collection of more subtle presets, including over 30 new impulses, ranging from dark vinyl to classroom projectors to crackling fires, along with 70 new presets to “coat your mixes” in everything from 80’s synth grit to warm wax to earthy, retro moods.

Classic Textures is the second of two expansion packs for Trash 2, following the experimental Edge Expansion. Learn more about the Trash 2 expansion packs on the iZotope site.

Pricing and Availability

  • The Trash 2 plug-in is now available for a special price of $149 (usually $249/ 195 EUR MSRP) through June 26, 2013.
  • Trash 2: Classic Textures is available for $29/ 25 EUR MSRP.

Both are available for purchase through the iZotope site.

Users who are upgrading to Trash 2 from Trash 1 can log in to their iZotope.com account to obtain special pricing.
