The Polymath Mega Modular Synthesizer (Sneak Preview)

Analogue Solutions’ Tom Carpenter shared these sneak preview pics of a new synth, the Polymath, that he describes as a ‘mega modular synth’.

It’s currently under development, but here’s what he has to say about the prototype:

Poly/Para version of the Telemark.
Full patchable, so can be totally reconfigured.

4x VCO, 2x LFO, Multimode Filter, 2x ADSR, S+H, RM, Noise, Multiples, Spring ‘verb, Analogue Sequencer, Arpeggiator, 4 chan. MIDI-CV, Mixer, Goose neck lamps, handle, Wood, and probably more that I forget

  1. Loose the silly “old suitcase” style handle on top. if you MUST put handles on it, please use professional looking and feeling handles, not ones from Grandma’s old suitcase!

    1. Ridiculous comment. Same handle as on the AS Vostok VERY sturdy, metal construction. Nothing “grandma” about it. Gorgeous design and smart functionality. This was the extent of your commentary on this synth? Sad…

  2. Hey Bob everybody has there own style and opinions which I think are very important in this world of ours. But the handles you are on about are super strong fantastically styled and are super kind and comfortable on your hand. I should know as I build most of toms wooden parts these days. Buy one and see the light my friend. Cheers Ross
