    1. The PT2399 chips used have an internal VCO. They can’t easily be synched externally. The LFO’s are very simple too. I think the idea was to keep it simple for entry level DIY. That being said, the schematic and build info is available on the website. So you could modify it if you are experienced enough to do so.

Overall, it’s a great DIY kit. I know someone who built one and I listened to him testing it out with his modular over an online radio stream. It can do some really cool stuff.

      1. I guess you’re right. External synchronization capability is just one of the first things I look for in a delay, because I find it important to have this possibility for electronic music.

There are very few hardware delays offering external synchronization, for example, most (guitar?) FX pedals don’t.

  1. Hi there! Here Àlex from Plankton Electronics.

    Thank you for the comments.

As Cynosure says this is a kit made for entry DIY level. Very low wiring is needed. But you can modify it if you know what are you doing.

I’m planning the V2 of the machine. It will have a modular and a desktop version. The synch is difficult to achieve. It’s possible with some programming and extra IC’s. It’s in my head, maybe I will do it for the V2.

I have a lot of ideas for new machines!

    Thank you!
