  1. This will be the year that many IOS apps will be ported to android. Who doesn’t want to double their sales. There are swarms of good music apps that struggle to stand out in the IOS market that would clean up if they jumped over to android. The delay issue is only a problem if you aspire to be a professional tablet musician. But after watching my children drop beats like skrillex and deadmou5 on the many DYI music apps I think these apps will be seen as really fun toys to make your own disposable music with instead of “professional tools”.

      1. The Android phones sell well, but from the market analysis I’ve seen, there are fewer app sales, and a ton more piracy. The App Store revenue is about 2X of what Google Play generates (despite Android holding something like 80% of the smart phone market). There’s also a lot of variation in Android hardware; this makes software development and bug testing a lot harder.

  2. Great news. Android users should snap this up without hesitation. Super fun and a wonderful idea generator.

I usually spend a year or two on an album, and with Yellofier I completed one in 3 weeks. (Free for download, the follow-up is also complete and coming out in a couple months.) It’s actually changed the way I work and helped me get over my typical patterns and mental roadblocks.
