Dreadbox has introduced the Murmux Initiate – a vintage style analog synthesizer, “Suitable for beginners in the Analog Synthesis”, according to the company.

The Murmux Initiate Analog Synthesizer is priced at $835 and is expected to be available in about 60 days.

  1. I saw this and thought- PAiA Fatman, a couple pieces of plywood, tweed jacket from the thrift store, and a couple hours of soldering time= a few hundred dollars left in your bank account.

    Nothing against the folks making these- all the best to them, and the bass pedal one is pretty cool!

  2. I like the appearance and interface and the sound is alright for a simple synth, but I doubt the price will make me want it more than saving my coins for something more substantial.
